Some Lincoln residents say the arena proposal that will be on the May 11 ballot is the right idea but in the wrong location.

Those voters ought to think again.

UNL students form group supporting new Haymarket arena

Another pro-Haymarket Arena group has just formed, and it’s run entirely by students. The group Students for the Haymarket Arena was organized by Matt Schaefer, a third-year law student and former Association of Students of the University of Nebraska president, and Megan Collins, a senior business administration major and current ASUN president.

Arena supporters hit the streets

More than 40 volunteers from Citizens FOR Jobs and the Lincoln Haymarket Arena hit the streets Sunday.

Their aim: canvassing all Lincoln neighborhoods in support of the proposed arena.
